Who we are.
BENCHMARK Windows & Doors was born out of mastery, not marketing.
For over 15 years, our team at Chalmers Heritage Conservation Ltd. set the standard for care and craftsmanship in Alberta’s most demanding heritage restorations. When Marvin Windows and Doors approached us in 2020, it wasn’t because we were salespeople — it was because we were builders + designers who understood the intersection of performance, design, and integrity.
We launched Marvin by CHC to reintroduce a respected global brand into our local market — and through that journey, we proved that product knowledge, construction experience, and honest processes can reshape what clients expect from a window and door company.
Today, BENCHMARK Windows & Doors carries that philosophy forward.

HISTORIC
For four generations, Marvin has built a reputation for doing the tough window replacement projects when repair and restoration are not an option. When other companies ask "Why?" we ask: "Why not?". We collaborate early with architects, facilities managers, general contractors and owners to find the right solution for your project. From on-site measurement of every opening to providing samples and rapid prototypes, we will help navigate the National Park Services standards and guidelines to discuss window specifications with local historic commissions. Marvin's Architectural Project Managers will provide support through the entire project lifecycle from initial concept to completion.
